Hack for Humanity aims to touch thousands of lifes. The Social Impact Hackathon organized by Mike Grandinetti my former Professor for Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Marketing from Hult Business School and MIT Boston. The final pitches were presented to a jury of industry experts, venture capitalists and the conscious tech submit founders in Egypt, Salma El Hariry and Sherine Wafaai, who sponsored free submit tickets for the winning teams. More than thirty design thinker and startup professionals flew in from San Francisco, New York, Toronto and even Germany to mentor the twenty-four teams.
As challenge leader for the education track and our Non-Profit Partner Green Hope School my tasks before the hackathon included: frame challange question; create analysis, research and trend report together with the Founder as background information for hacker. For communication & marketing of the hackathon, I created the website, coordinated blog and media planning.
